Comics Buyers Guide Goes Digital

NEW YORK – August 8, in the year of our Lord 2011 – The world’s longest-running publication about comics, Comics Buyer’s Guide, now offers its digital publications on the popular iTunes application, Comics+. Comics+ is a free iTunes application by iVerse Media that has over 5000 comic books formatted for easy reading on the iPhone or iPad.

Comics Buyer’s Guide eBooks like 1,000 Comic Books You Must Read, by Tony Isabella, and back issues of Comics Buyer’s Guide are now available for download on iTunes. “Offering Comics Buyer’s Guide and our books and specials via digital devices is a great way to make our content available to an even wider audience of comics fans, both hardcore and casual,” said Brent Frankenhoff, CBG editor.

“At iVerse, we are constantly looking for new and interesting content to offer our readers”, said Steve May, Director of Business Development at iVerse Media. “Adding Comics Buyer’s Guide, which provides invaluable information about the comic book industry, is a perfect fit for us. First and foremost, we are comic book fans at iVerse. We could not be happier to offer Comics Buyer’s Guide and its’ informative take on everything from Silver Age comics to current retail trends in our Comics+ app. We’re also excited to be able to offer their book titles such as 1000 Comic Books You Must Read. Our users should be very happy about these new additions to Comics+.”

“This has been an exciting process and I’m anxious to hear from users who have just discovered us as well as those who are already familiar with our products. It’s yet another way we’re reaching out to fans beyond our print products, our social networking, and our website CBGXtra.com,” Frankenhoff added.
