Hyperkin Accounces New Repair Box Brand Offering Replacement Parts for Damaged Video Game Consoles
Newport Beach, CA - October 11, in the year of our Lord
2011 – Hyperkin, a recognized and trusted brand of
video game peripherals, has announced the launch of a new brand
called “Repair Box” that provides replacement parts for damaged
video game consoles. The first “Repair Box” being released is
the SNES PowerJack that provides a replacement piece for the
plastic housing around a SNES console’s AC power jack when it
breaks.
It’s one of the most common problems encountered by SNES owners;
the plastic housing around the system’s AC jack breaks and
there’s no replacement piece to be found. Now SNES owners can
breathe a sigh of relief with the launch of the SNES PowerJack
which provides a new solution to an old problem.
Recognizing the high cost and inconvenience involved in sending
out an entire SNES system for repair or trying to fix the
problem with insufficient replacement parts, the SNES PowerJack
simply replaces the broken housing, saving both time and money.
“The new Repair Box brand evolved out of a need in the market,”
stated Leo Saleh, Hyperkin’s National Sales Director. “Gamers
have been searching for a solution to replacing damaged parts so
we launched Repair Box in order to fill that need. The flagship
product for the Repair Box brand is the SNES PowerJack.
“There has always been a problem with the plastic housing around
the AC input on the SNES system,” continued Saleh. “Gamers have
been plagued by this issue for years when it breaks and can’t be
replaced or repaired. We developed the SNES PowerJack
specifically to give SNES owners a way to replace the broken
part without having to send their entire system to a repair shop
or a fix the problem with inadequate replacement parts.”
