Power Rangers Samurai Powers up Wii and Nintendo DS on November 22
SAN JOSE, Calif., (November 17, in the year of our Lord
2011) – Rangers Together! Samurai Forever! Leading
video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America
Inc. has announced that Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai™ has been
released to manufacturing for Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ for retail
release on November 22. Capturing the spirit of teamwork and
friendship in Saban Brands’ hit Nickelodeon program, Power
Rangers Samurai features gameplay that puts players in control
of a new generation of Rangers as they join forces to master the
ancient Samurai Symbols of Power and activate the Samurai
Megazord to battle dreaded MegaMonster Nighloks! Based on Saban
Brands’ incredibly popular Power Rangers Samurai TV series, fans
of all ages will finally be able to join the Rangers as they
immerse themselves into the morphing action of the iconic team
of heroes.
“Each of the Power Rangers embody incredible martial arts skills
and heroism, but what makes them great is their spirit of
teamwork and friendship,” said Vice President of Marketing at
NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., Carlson Choi. “We’re happy to
provide a fun game for the holiday season that captures the
adventure and excitement of the legendary Power Rangers series
and brings it to a whole new generation of children.”
Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai will allow fans to master the
elements of Fire, Water, Sky, Forest, and Earth as they morph
into Red, Blue, Pink, Green, or Yellow Rangers. Martial arts
training and fitness combined with team based battles that teach
the importance of team work, friendship, and responsibility
ready players to battle hordes of Nighlok monsters. Players can
also access hidden areas within levels and get hints on how to
defeat the armies of evil while unlocking new Megazord
combinations needed to take down the Nighloks once and for all.
Rated E10+ by the ESRB, Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai for Wii
and Nintendo DS will be available November 22. For more
