Sony Computer Entertainment America Delivers Fun with Everybody Dance
October 18, in the year of our Lord 2011 --
Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) today announced
the release of Everybody Dance™, available exclusively on
PlayStation®3 (PS3™) system for $39.99 MSRP. Featuring a
playlist of 40 hit tracks, Everybody Dance creates a high-energy
party experience that brings family and friends together as they
dance alongside authentic music videos from artists including
Rihanna, Duck Sauce and more. Anyone can get in on the fun,
using the intuitive PlayStation®Move motion controller and
PlayStation®Eye camera to track their moves with 1:1 precision
and score their performances.
Players can customize their Everybody Dance play experiences by
dancing solo style, joining a friend for a cooperative dance
routine, or competing in dance battles set to the tracks of
their choice. Every track features three difficulty levels, each
offering unique choreography; so dancers of all skill levels can
join in.
Everybody Dance lets players take the festivities to the next
level by introducing Party Play, a unique mode that allows up to
20 players to join in a head-to-head dance off. Using the
PlayStation Eye camera, Everybody Dance captures pictures of
each player and videos of their performances to create an
in-game scrapbook of their best Party Play moments. Players can
scroll through images, clips, scores and stats from each round
of gameplay, and they can even share videos of their favorite
routines with their friends on Facebook and Twitter with one
click. Everybody Dance also utilizes the PlayStation Eye camera
to record the crowds singing and cheers with the Sing-Along
feature to reward the most engaging performers with bonus
points.
Also featuring a robust Dance Studio mode, Everybody Dance
allows players to showcase their creativity and stay fit.
Utilizing the Dance Studios Dance Creator feature, players can
record their own choreographed routines for any of the games 40
tracks and then add their creations into the mix for local play
sessions. In addition, the Dance Studio provides a Dance Workout
mode that lets players create a fitness profile, choose from a
wide selection of workout routines featuring a variety of
different energy and difficulty levels, and track the calories
that they burn while playing Everybody Dance.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rates Everybody
Dance T for TEEN.
