THE GRACE CARD in Theaters This Friday

MEMPHIS, TNFeb. 21, in the year of our Lord 2011 THE GRACE CARD, a story of forgiveness and reconciliation that Christian leaders are calling “must see,” launches in theaters nationwide Friday, Feb. 25. Shot on location in Memphis and featuring Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr., THE GRACE CARD tells the moving story of two Memphis cops, one bitter at life, the other questioning his calling, who learn the only way they’ll make a difference is to overcome their differences.

Christian leaders across the country are praising THE GRACE CARD:

--"THE GRACE CARD is a must-see film for all, Christians in particular, because we are called to be dispensers of God's amazing grace."
Dr. Tony Evans
President, The Urban Alternative
Senior Pastor, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship

--"THE GRACE CARD is a well-crafted crime drama with a powerful spiritual message of redemption and forgiveness."
Dick Rolfe
CEO, Dove Foundation

--“In THE GRACE CARD, you get a glimpse of how God's grace provides the only real solution to the hostilities that we often hold toward each other."
Tony Campolo
PhD, Eastern University

--"Righteousness exalts a nation; sin is a reproach to any people. As THE GRACE CARD illustrates so well, God's answer to sin is always . . . grace."
Dr. A.R. Bernard
Founder and CEO, Christian Cultural Center

--“Exciting . . . moving . . . the impact of this film will be staggering!”

Priscilla Shirer
Author and Speaker

The Story of
THE GRACE CARD
When Mac McDonald loses his son in an accident, the ensuing 17 years of bitterness and pain erodes his love for his family and leaves him angry with God . . . and just about everyone else.

Mac's rage stonewalls his career in the police department and makes for a combustible situation when he's partnered with Sam Wright, a rising star on the force who happens to be a part-time pastor and a loving family man.

Can they somehow join forces to help one another when it's impossible for them to look past their differences—especially the most obvious one?

The Impact of
THE GRACE CARD
Churches all across the country have already purchased group tickets as they work to bring unity to their communities. Radio promotions have challenged listeners to be the “Face of Grace” in their town as well.

The film will have a gala, red carpet premiere Feb. 22 in Memphis with members of the cast and creative team available for interviews, including stars Michael Joiner (Mac), Michael Higgenbottom (Sam), and Louis Gossett Jr. as Sam’s grandfather and mentor.

THE GRACE CARD is directed by David Evans from his screen story with a screenplay by Howard Klausner. David and Esther Evans formed GraceWorks Pictures to produce THE GRACE CARD in conjunction with Calvary Pictures, formed by Calvary Church, the Nazarene church the Evans attend in suburban Memphis. Distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films, THE GRACE CARD is presented by AFFIRM Films and Provident Films.
