Virtual City Playground comes to iPad on August 25

Artifacts and Virtual City, today announces the upcoming social
city building game for iPad, Virtual City Playground.
One year ago, Virtual City was released on iPhone and iPad.
Since then, it has experienced tremendous success - #1 Top
Grossing Game in 17 countries including major EU markets, has
been in Top 10 Grossing Games in 51 countries, has been in top 5
Grossing Strategy Games in all markets.
On August 25, a new, social free-to-play version of this runaway
hit will appear on iPad as a free download.

Your favorite Virtual City gameplay is now FREE in Virtual City
Playground! Pre-defined missions are replaced with unlimited
free play. The game will offer 87 new quests to complete for
awards, with additional quests coming subsequently in free
updates. Extra content in the game includes:
10 exclusive landmarks: Acropolis, Big Ben, Coliseum, Eiffel
Tower, Empire State Building, Tower of Pisa, Saint Basil's
Cathedral, Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera, Taj Mahal;
68 various decorations will help players make their city the
most enviable place in the world;
New entertainment buildings that will help make the city
prosper: Restaurant, Club, Fitness Center, Museum of Modern Art,
History Museum, Tennis Court, Bowling, Fish Restaurant,
Amusement park, Green Theatre, Casino, Rollerdrome, Mini Golf,
Arcade building.
The game will use In-App Purchase to let players buy in-game
currency (city credits and invest points). They can use this
currency to unlock additional content and purchase more energy
which is necessary to build the city. It is possible to complete
the game without any in-game purchases.
Virtual City Playground will let players challenge their friends
on Facebook and Apple Game Center. For posting a Facebook
achievement players will receive awards in a form of in-game
currency (limited to 1 invest point per day).
Game Center will also be integrated, for high scores and
achievements. High scores will be integrated for city level,
number of city credits spent, as well as Happiness, Environment,
and Population indicators. Over 95 achievements will let players
share their progress with their Game Center friends.

updates to the game, offering players more content, game
mechanics and enhancing social integration.
