XSEED Games Confirms Soundtrack - Details Locations and Characters in Solatorobo Red the Hunter
XSEED Games is pleased to announce that the highly anticipated
upcoming Nintendo DS action-RPG title: Solatorobo: Red the
Hunter, will contain an accompanying soundtrack CD with each
first run copy when it ships in September, at an MSRP of $34.99.
Celebrated for its artistic visuals and enthralling
storytelling, the music in the game is equally as spirited and
memorable.
The Solatorobo: Red the Hunter soundtrack is a replica of the
original Japanese version and features 24 tracks that set a
playful mood for some of the game’s light-hearted dialogue,
while contrasting with a full orchestral score that foreshadows
the epic struggle for survival that awaits protagonist Red
Savarin.
Set high above the clouds of the Shepherd Republic, Solatorobo:
Red the Hunter features a picturesque setting filled with
vibrant pastel colors and European-style villas. In the game,
players will take to the skies in airships and explore the
various floating islands that comprise the mystical world in
which the game is set. From the railroad-trafficked streets of
the Republic’s capital city of Pharaoh to the airborne port of
Airedale, each of the Shepherd Republic’s ten principal cities
are filled with unique characters and details. Each location in
Solatorobo offers a distinct atmosphere, and whether it be the
Mushroom-dandelion forests of Vizsla or the canal-lined alleys
of touristy Spinon, around every corner players will find a
highly-stylized environment.
As adventurer-for-hire Red Savarin treks through the skies, he
and his companions will be unwittingly pulled into a sinister
plot to resurrect an ancient threat. At the center of this plot
is the leader of the Kurvaz organization, Bruno Dondurma, a
dog-like renegade who operates within the law but is never
afraid to make an example of those who oppose him through the
handy tools of intimidation and blackmail. At his side, the
faithful cat-like Opéra Kranz is usually seen with her
subordinates, Calua Napage and Gren Sacher, all of whom are
armed with Robo mechs of varying abilities, from long-range
projectile attacks to short-range swords. Together, they form a
formidable opposition that Red will have to somehow take down in
order to protect his world.
Developed by CyberConnect2 in Japan – the team behind the late
1990s PlayStation hit, and Solatorobo’s spiritual predecessor,
Tail Concerto – Solatorobo: Red the Hunter is a winding tale of
intrigue and mystery that encourages players to explore the
world, interacting with all manner of characters along the way.
Currently in production, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter will be
released this September in North America by XSEED Games for the
Nintendo DS. XSEED Games will release more product information
in the coming weeks.
