Foosball 2012 Video Dev Diary PS Move Controls Released
Prague,
Czech Republic - May 18, in the year of our Lord 2012 -
Grip Games, a privately owned developer and publisher of games for
game consoles and high-end portable devices, revealed today the
first in a series of developer diaries showing off their upcoming
title, Foosball 2012, the first foosball game for the PlayStation®3
system and PlayStation®Vita system. Grab a PlayStation®Move motion
controller and be prepared to do a victory dance! The game, set to
release on the PlayStation®3 system and PlayStation®Vita system as a
downloadable game via the PlayStation®Store throughout North and
South America, Europe and other territories, will be available this
summer.
Foosball 2012 can be played either by using the DUALSHOCK®3 wireless
controller or by the PlayStation®Move motion controller. The PS Move
controls are unique, allowing players to control the game as if they
were controlling a real foosball table! Hold the PS Move motion
controller in horizontal position and move it back and forth to
shift the poles and twist to shoot. To see the game in its fully
glory, the video is available on YouTube at

"Thanks to the PS Move's precision paired with zero lag, even the
smallest motions of the controller are properly represented in the
game, with the player being able to perfectly control the power of
shots and the placement of his foosmen," said Jakub Mikyska, CEO of
Grip Games. "It is possible to play using only one PS Move - the
player controls all the poles simultaneously, or the player can use
two PS Move controllers at the same time, with each hand controlling
a twist."
For those, who do not have a PS Move motion controller, or simply
don't want to use it, the DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller is also
supported. Initially, the left stick controls the movements of the
poles and the ball and the right stick is used to shoot, giving the
players a precise control over the direction and power of each shot.
Three different control setups are available, from a more casual one
to an expert controls, allowing everyone to choose their favorite.
Foosball 2012 will feature single and multiplayer modes along with
Quick Match gameplay where up to four players can play
simultaneously in a local match. The game supports both DUALSHOCK®3
wireless controller and PS Move motion controller support for
ultra-realistic foosball controls that will make players feel like
they are controlling a real foosball table!
Between now and E3, Grip Games will be launching a series of
developer diaries on their site and on their official Facebook at
