July 20, in the year of our Lord 2012 -- Independent developer ‘Zombie Robot Games Inc.’ is proud to announce the release of their debut title, ‘Tentacleez’, on the App Store(SM). Compatible with the Apple iPhone®, Apple iPod touch® and the Apple iPad®, ‘Tentacleez’ is a highly addicting maze-game inspired by such classics as PAC-MAN™ and Lady Bug™.

Featuring unique gameplay and a plethora of features and options, ‘Tentacleez’ brings refreshing life to the genre with its inspiring and refreshing gameplay. While the objective of the game sounds vaguely familiar (guide your playable character around a maze gobbling up ‘yummies’ avoiding Poison Stompers), there is more to this game beneath the surface. Gates scattered throughout each maze provide an ingenious way of adding strategy to your play, and will become lifesavers in situations where you are about to get cornered by the bad guys. On your quest for the ultimate high-score you can achieve massive amounts of points by use of multipliers. The more ‘yummies’ you eat without stopping, the higher your multiplier becomes, and the more points you will gain.

‘Tentacleez’ offers multiple modes of play and the FREE download comes with the ‘Quick Game’ mode featuring seven levels with three degrees of difficulty, ideal for the introductory player. Additional gameplay modes become available through a single in-app purchase, and offer some truly challenging entertainment. The ‘Little Kid’ mode has no scoring, no ways of getting killed, and plays at a constant speed throughout. The ‘Full Game’ mode offers an incredible 49 levels over three degrees of difficulty, and each level becomes progressively harder. Finally, there is the ‘Challenge Mode’ featuring the same amount of levels as the ‘Full Game’ mode, but difficulty is incremented every four levels. Additionally, in this highly unique mode, you only have one (1) life altogether, although it is possible to retry the level should you stare in the face of death (or in the face of a Poison Stomper in this case). ‘Challenge Mode’ is ultimately harder than any other mode available in the game, and even tracks your ‘Challenge Score’, which is the total of your best scores from each level!

With its incredibly polished and intuitive controls, seven unique mazes and backgrounds, wealth of options, monster mayhem and multiplier heaven, ‘Tentacleez’ has come a long way since maze-based games were nothing more than munching single-color pellets!
