For more than 20 years, the National Parenting Publications
Awards (NAPPA), a division of Dominion Enterprises, has been the
go-to resource for the best products for families. NAPPA’s team
of independent expert judges, along with family and child
testers, select the most innovative and enduring products to be
NAPPA Gold, Silver and Honors winners in two annual
competitions—Children’s Products and Parenting Resources. Far
more than a seal of approval, a NAPPA award signifies that a
product has been rigorously evaluated against stringent criteria
and stands out among hundreds of other products from around the
world.
The Dove Foundation Seal of Approval indicates that the content
expressed makes for the kind of entertainment family members can
enjoy together with confidence. Now celebrating its 20th year as
an advocate for family values in entertainment, The Dove
Foundation works to encourage filmmakers to make clean movies,
and to empower families to make wise choices. As the nonprofit,
"keeper of the Seal," free from commercial pressures, The Dove
Foundation has built a brand that is recognized by over 50
million Americans.
KIDS FIRST! evaluates, rates and endorses children's films,
DVDs, CDs, TV shows and games using volunteer, community-based
juries of adults and children from diverse backgrounds and
offers a variety of means to showcase and enhance consumer
awareness of sponsored products. The Coalition for Quality
Children's Media is a national, nonprofit organization founded
in 1991 whose mission is to teach children critical viewing
