Woody Woodpecker now live on the App Store
Macclesfield, U.K. – January 12, in the year of our Lord
2012 – Chillingo, Universal Partnerships & Licensing
and Tintash today announced that the official ‘Woody Woodpecker’
iOS mobile game is now available on the iTunes App Store for
iPhone®, iPod touch®and iPad™.
Developed by Tintash and based on the classic animated cartoon
characters by Walter Lantz, the game stars Woody Woodpecker and
his famous pals in a fun-filled comic-racing caper. Featuring a
whimsical soundtrack by renowned composer David Ari Leon,
intuitive game controls, and a Wi-Fi based multiplayer mode that
enables gamers to compete against each other globally, the game
is sure to delight fans of all ages.
“Woody Woodpecker is one of the most recognizable characters in
the world, and we’re thrilled to be a part of his debut on the
