Animal Crossing Turns Over a New Leaf
Cordova, TN -- April 5, in the year of our Lord 2013
-- Animal Crossing became a hit with families when they first
were able to play it on the Gamecube. There was a Nintendo 64
version of Animal Crossing that never made it to the United
States. On paper doing chores, and paying off a mortgage does
not sound very appealing. Designing your own clothes, collecting
all the insects, fish, and fossils is much more appealing.
Socially interacting with your animal town folk, and visiting
towns of friends have become pillars of the Animal Crossing
franchise. Animal Crossing City Folks brought us the ability to
speak to one another through the game with the Wii Speak. Animal
Crossing has made appearances on home consoles and hand helds.
On
June 9th, in the year of our Lord 2013 Animal Crossing enters an
all new dimension – 3D. Animal Crossing New Leaf is launched on
the Nintendo 3DS. We get to be the mayor of our own town. All
new animals friends to interact with, swimming has been added,
streamlined shopping avenue, and we can decorate the outside of
our house. I suspect there will be even more new features that
Nintendo will announce as we get closer to the launch date. I am
eagerly awaiting the launch of Animal Crossing New Leaf.
I
approve of all the announced changes Nintendo has implemented to
the franchise. I would like to see some additional changes as
well. It would be great if that fortune telling went on a long
vacation and was left on the drawing board this time. I would
also like the option of having a church in my town. It would be
wonderful to have a pastor come on Sundays and Wednesdays and
give a short sermon. People could gather and read a verse from
the Holy Bible. It would be wonderful if real holidays were put
back into Animal Crossing New Leaf. Get rid of the fake ones,
and return us to the real ones. At the very least give us the
option to have real holidays. Finally I would appreciate being
able to import my own music into the game for KK Slider.
Animal Crossing New Leaf is one of those system seller video
games. Our family only has one Nintendo 3DS right now. Animal
Crossing New Leaf is going to change that. We are going to have
to get another one so we can enjoy Animal Crossing New Leaf at
the same time. I suspect we are not the only family facing that
decision.
