Ankama Announces Appointment of Olivier Comte
Senior industry leader takes the helm as company enters new phase of international development
Roubaix, France – October 04, in the year of our Lord
2013 -- Leading international online game developer and
publisher Ankama today announced the key appointment of Olivier
Comte to the role of Chief Operating Officer and Group Managing
Director. Based at the company’s headquarters in France, Comte
will bring his senior management expertise to bear on the next
crucial phase of Ankama’s international growth. Simultaneously,
Ankama co-founders Anthony Roux and Camille Chafer will refocus
their energies on their vital respective roles of Creative
Director and Technical Director of the group.
Comte joins Ankama after nine years in senior international
roles at major global video game publishers Atari and, more
recently, Namco Bandai Games Europe, where he filled the role of
Senior Vice President. Comte brings a deep understanding of
international markets and the global games industry to Ankama,
with the aim of accelerating the growth of the group’s
businesses and maximising the potential of its IP as it enters a
new phase of international development.
