PES 2014 vs Fifa 14
Cordova, TN; October 2, in the year of our Lord 2013--Family
Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family
friendly video games is recognizing PES 2014 vs Fifa 14. There
are soccer fans all over the world who like one soccer franchise
over the other one. There are Fifa fanboys, and there are PES
fanboys. So Family Friendly Gaming recognizes taking a stance or
a side on any given year is going to cause some disagreement.
For years Fifa was the king of the soccer games. Then last year
(2012) two things happened. The PES franchise improved beyond
Fifa. The second thing was Fifa shot itself in the foot with its
kissing scandal and highly divisive controversy.
Fifa 14 did a little stumble recovery from Fifa Soccer 13. Just
not enough to wash off the stigma from last year. Plus the mild
improvements did not catch up to the game play of PES 2013 – let
alone PES 2014. The Fifa franchise fell from grace. There is no
debating that. The presentation of Fifa 14 is generally better
than the bare bones approach of PES 2014. The music is not as
good in Fifa 14, and families are not allowed to remove one song
at a time. It is all or nothing. Fifa 14 and PES 2014 have many
different leagues so it is hard to put those head to head. Do
you prefer these teams over those teams? It is a toss up.
PES 2014 puts Fifa 14 to shame in terms of character creation.
The online modes are comparable, and so are the living the life
of a soccer star. Both games have great announcers, PES 2014 has
more excitement and the edge. Watching two people play one
another in PES 2014 feels like watching two extremely talented
athletes. It is like PES 2014 is the pros and Fifa 14 is
college. It is that apparent. Do not get me wrong – Fifa 14 is a
good, solid soccer game. It just can not compete head to head
with PES 2014. Which is why PES 2014 kept the crown. It is why
PES 2014 is the best soccer game two years running. That is my
opinion, and the opinion of everyone here at Family Friendly
Gaming who has played both games. Is PES 2014 perfect? Nope.
Would we like to see PES 2014 improve in some areas? You betcha.
