SEGA Announces GO DANCE for iOS
LONDON & SAN FRANCISCO - August 27th, in the year of our
Lord 2013 - SEGA Networks Co. Ltd, a videogame content
provider that has brought mobile hits like the Kingdom Conquest
series and Puyo Puyo, has announced the release of a new dance
and rhythm game that allows players to aim for high scores, GO
DANCE™, for the iPhone™ and iPad™ coming in the Autumn of 2013.
Utilising key technology that takes advantage of the FaceTime
camera on player’s devices, scores will be determined by an
interactive motion-based sensor as gamers dance to the music
following the choreography of their avatars displayed on the
screen.
“GO DANCE is an innovative and fun way for players to interact
with their iPhone or iPad and enjoy playing a dance game anytime
and anywhere” said Haruki Satomi, CEO of SEGA Networks. “We’re
excited to push mobile to the limit and to have the opportunity
to explore the possibilities of using this new motion-based
sensor technology.”
Stay tuned for more information on GO DANCE including new songs,
backgrounds and avatars, which will offer a whole new user
experience to all music and dance game fans across the world.
