Fatal Four Way for Simulation Championship
Cordova, TN; June 16, in the year of our Lord 2014--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is ringing the bell for a fatal four way match for the simulation championship. Family Friendly Gaming took a long, hard look at four simulation video games at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2014). The four games are The Sims 4, Farming Simulator 15, Harvest Moon The Lost Valley, and Story of Seasons. These four games square off in a championship match to find the best simulation game for families. Each game has its strengths and its weaknesses.
The Sims 4 is all about increasing the personality of the Sim characters. Families can expect addicting game play while living out the life of a fake person. From what Family Friendly Gaming found out there is no plans by Electronic Arts to support traditional marriage with this video game. In fact they plan on supporting the attempts to redefine marriage and thus throw society into complete chaos. Life is also very disposable in The Sims 4. Sick minds find humor in the death of others. The Sims 4 has a huge marketing campaign behind it, and plenty of gaming outlets will do their best to promote this video game. Is this the best choice for families?
Farming Simulator 15 has plenty of things going for it. Strong increasing sales, and support by those who understand the value of farmers. Logging has been added to this simulation video game. The developers are adding a speed limit cap so players can not speed in the vehicles anymore. This removes one of the irritations in the last game - losing what you are pulling due to going too fast. Families can now sow fields, and forests wherever they want to. The logging aspect of Farming Simulator 15 looks amazing. Ever since George Washington we have all wanted to go chop down a tree. This is one simulation video game to watch out for - because it is on the verge of exploding.
Story of Seasons comes from Marvelous USA and XSeed Games. There has already been some controversy surrounding this game in terms of refusing to support traditional marriage, and its Eastern religious content. Longtime lead producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto has moved on from the Harvest Moon franchise to make his own life and farming simulator. There are innovations like being able to go to a three by three grid, and interact with it once to plant, water, and harvest. This is a very cool innovation. Story of Seasons claims to reboot the previous franchise. However content Americans find offensive is still included - like a false goddess and witch character. No pastors or priests are being allowed in this Nintendo 3DS video game. They want Americans to buy it, but they refuse to provide what Americans are asking for.
Harvest Moon The Lost Valley on the Nintendo 3DS also claims to reboot the franchise. It also has the same problems in terms of the Eastern religious content. It also includes a false goddess and witch characters. The innovation in Harvest Moon The Lost Valley is it is becoming more like Minecraft. You can dig half blocks down, and place them up. There is no digging straight ahead of you. Being able to easily place things like bridges is nice. It gives Harvest Moon The Lost Valley that TownCraft kind of feel. This is an interesting direction to take the franchise. Will Harvest Moon fans embrace it? Will it bring in new fans? Time will definitely tell. Harvest Moon The Lost Valley is like Story of Seasons - they want your money, but refuse to listen to what you want.
Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon The Lost Valley have some bad blood between them. Expect those two to go after one another. The Sims 4 is arrogantly going to go around expecting to glean money off of owners of the previous games. The only game hungry enough is Farming Simulator 15. It has the eye of the tiger. Farming Simulator 15 is the safest game for families. It is also the most realistic simulation game of the four listed in this article. It teaches the best lessons, and helps the most people. The winner of the Fatal Four Way Simulation Championship is Farming Simulator 15.
