Statue of Liberty The Lost Symbol Releases
Paris, April 28, in the year of our Lord 2014.
Microïds takes the players in a paranormal atmosphere in "Statue
of Liberty – The Lost Symbol", an investigation and hidden
object game on iOS, Android PC and Mac.
The Statue of Liberty, the work of Auguste Bartholdi that France
offered to the new continent in 1886, is one of USA’s most
famous symbols. Today, French publisher Microids places this
monument in the heart of its brand new hidden object game
available on mobiles and computers: "Statue of Liberty – The
Lost Symbol".
The flame of the Statue of Liberty has gone! The island has been
evacuated and a team of scientists from the investigation bureau
has already examined the site, without any results. No print, no
clue, no witness. It has just disappeared.
The player embodies Susan Pierce, an FBI special agent,
appointed to Liberty Island to clear up the incredible
disappearance of the flame. She is helped by Ranger Lyndon
Cooper. Her senses of observation and deduction will be put to
the test throughout the adventure to solve this mysterious case.
Thanks to its intuitive and immersive gameplay, "Statue of
Liberty – The Lost Symbol", will please the fans of hidden
object games, on any support. The player can freely explore the
environment around him, in the animated and thorough scenery. He
has to alternate between phases of hidden object search, puzzles
and mini-games to progress in the investigation. Open a lock
with the right combination, find his way in the maze, discover
the code to open a door, these are some examples of what is
included. However, these games can be passed after a defined
time. Some objects are kept in the inventory and can be used
later in specific places (e.g. collect an USB key to see the
surveillance video of the Statue of Liberty). The inventory can
be checked at any time and can guide the player by reminding him
the objective or clues during the hidden object scenes, to help
him if he is stuck.
For history-lovers, the game includes information about the
Statue of Liberty, from its origins to the most recent
innovations through more than 50 fun facts that can be collected
throughout the adventure.
Microïds invites the player to investigate the disappearance of
one of USA’s greatest symbols, in "Statue of Liberty – The Lost
Symbol", available since April 28, 2014 on iOS and soon Android,
PC and Mac in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German.
