The Deceptive Playstation 4
Cordova, TN; February 26, in the year of our Lord 2014--Family
Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family
friendly video games is exhausted over the deluge of complaints
over the deceptive nature of the Playstation 4. Sony released
the Playstation 4 incomplete. The system wants a Playstation Eye
to be able to use all of the systems functionality. The
Playstation Eye from the Playstation 3 will not work for the
Playstation 4 as a substitute. Sony is requiring an additional
purchase, and they are not being upfront about it. The lower
cost of the PS4 versus the Xbox One is negated thanks to this
whole PS4 Eye Scandal. It is also very difficult to find a PS4
Eye at this time.
In the Christmas Buying Guide Family Friendly Gaming recommended
families wait on purchasing a Playstation 4. We really wish more
of our readers had heeded that advice. I know many others in the
gaming media were encouraging you to go stand in lines to try
and get one. The end result has been plenty of pain and
heartache. From hours of downloading and installing updates to
not having all the equipment to use the system. The lack of
family friendly video games has been another problem with the
Playstation 4. We get that complaint quite often as well. Please
use this as a learning experience to follow our advice in the
future. We tried to save you a lot of anguish, irritation,
anger, and hurt feelings.
Family Friendly Gaming has no idea what Sony was thinking with
the abyssmal launch of the Playstation 4. There should have been
a PS4 Eye packed in with every system. Like Microsoft did with
the Xbox One. Or Sony should have shipped one PS4 Eye unit for
every single system they shipped. What did they think the
consumer response would be? Thank you for selling me half a
system (dripping with sarcasm). Hopefully Sony will fix this in
the second quarter of 2014. They are starting to actually bring
forward a few games that might actually be family friendly. So
families may want to take a look at the Playstation 4 come
Christmas 2014. Please note the 'may' in that sentence. Sony has
a lot of ground to cover in terms of catching up with the Xbox
One where families are concerned.
God bless,
