Winx Club Launches

SANTA ANA, CA – November 11, in the year of our Lord 2014 – Worldwide video game publisher, Little Orbit announced today the launch of Winx Club: Saving Alfea in North America! Available today on Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo 3DS™, Winx Club: Saving Alfea is a modern fantasy adventure about Bloom, an “ordinary” girl who discovers she’s actually a fairy with extraordinary powers! It’s up to Bloom and her Winx friends to save the upcoming Anniversary Party at Alfea! The game is available on DS and 3DS for $29.99 and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.

Play as your favorite Winx characters, while managing your fairy garden at school -- plow, plant, and harvest magical ingredients which are used to create spells to help your friends!

“Winx Club is a different kind of game that uses a simulation and adventure focus to tell a wholesome story,” said Matt Scott, president of Little Orbit. “Many of us have children at Little Orbit, and we’re pleased to offer these games that build up the confidence and skills of our young women and men.”

Adds Cristiana Buzzelli of Rainbow: “Little Orbit has done a fantastic job with Winx Club: Saving Alfea. Winx Club digital content is very popular with kids across the world and they will love the opportunity to transform into their favorite characters in this fabulous game!”

Bloom, along with her five fashion-forward best friends (Stella, Aisha, Flora, Musa, and Tecna), form the Winx Club where they attend Alfea, the finest fairy school in all the realms. When trouble arises, the Winx Club transforms into beautiful fairies who use their unique magical powers to save the world.
