Pray for Haters in Video Games
Cordova, TN; July 6, in the year of our Lord 2015--Family
Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family
friendly video games is asking something of Family Friendly
Gaming Universe. It is rare we ask anything of ya’ll. We are
generally more about service than we are about being served.
This request is not even for us. It is to make the entire video
game industry better. It is for a way to improve upon the
problems in the video game industry. It is a way for the
perspective to be shifted. It is also something we are doing
constantly. I am the kind of a leader who will not ask something
of you that I am not willing to do myself. I am the kind of a
leader who does not ask for something that I am not already
doing. I believe in leading by example. Words are meaningless
when the deeds do not match them.
There are plenty of haters in video games. There are plenty of
selfish people in video games. There are plenty of liars and
deceivers in video games. There are numerous cowards in the
video game industry. There are gamers, producers, developers,
artists, musicians, lawyers, corporate employees, PR, gaming
journalists, and more that fit into this category. All of them
need something. Few will ask for what they really need. What
they need is to be prayed for. I feel so bad to see so many
floundering around like a fish out of water. I am asking that
you would pray for all of the haters, selfish, liars, deceivers,
and cowards within the video game industry. Pray they turn to
God. Pray they seek God’s will for their lives. Pray they will
have strength to do the right thing. Pray they will be honest
and find integrity. Pray they will enter into a relationship
with Jesus Christ. Pray they will make the video game industry
better instead of worse.
The corruption, wickedness and evil in the video game industry
has gotten horrible. Prayer is what is needed to turn things
around. I already pray for the industry and those within it on a
daily basis. Sometimes more than once a day - especially days I
run into multiple people fitting into one of the previously
mentioned categories. Prayer turns things around. Prayer is
showing we humble ourselves and admit we are not capable of
fixing the problems. Prayer acknowledges God, and requests his
aid in areas that need to be corrected. Prayer grants us peace.
Prayer changes ourselves and those around us. If you are
currently praying for the video game industry, then keep at it.
If you are not, then please start.
God bless,
Paul Bury
