Violating the First Amendment
Cordova, TN; October 16, in the year of our Lord 2015--Family
Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family
friendly video games is exposing part of the dark side of video
games. It is where companies and/or their PR firms violate the
First Amendment. Some of them even violate the Civil Rights Act
of 1964. Part of the reason they do this is they are not
educated to the laws they are violating. The other part is they
worship the idolatry of political correctness which
discriminates against Christians. At least Christians who
actively follow the faith, and are not Christian in name only.
There are always those that talk the talk, but do not walk the
walk.
First Amendment of the United States of America:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging
the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the
people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for
a redress of grievances.
Civil Rights Act of 1964:
All persons shall be entitled to be free, at any
establishment or place, from discrimination or segregation of
any kind on the ground of race, color, religion, or national
origin, if such discrimination or segregation is or purports to
be required by any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, rule, or
order of a State or any agency or political subdivision thereof.
As Christians face more and more discrimination in the United
States of America, and persecution all over the world; we have
to question why is this law breaking being allowed? Ultimately
it is rebellion against God. Those discriminating against
Christians in the video game industry are mad at God, and take
it out on those that openly trust and obey God. Don’t they
realize how evil, vile, and wicked their acts make them look?
The time is now to shine the light of truth on the entire video
game industry in hopes of a major clean up. When will the video
game industry correct this problem? When will these violators of
the law be held accountable for their crimes?
I have seen discrimination against Christians from major
companies in my time in the video game industry. I have seen
attempts to force the religious belief of political correctness,
and Eastern religious beliefs on families, gaming media, and
Family Friendly Gaming. There are actual companies that refuse
to work with Family Friendly Gaming because we are Christians.
They are violating the First Amendment, and the Civil Rights Act
of 1964. I have seen Christian game developers discriminated
against because their games are Christian by many gaming media
outlets. I have seen companies demand content in video games be
removed because it supports and/or encourages the Christian
faith. Yet they have the opposite practice when it comes to
religious content in video games from other religions. So it is
obviously a double standard, and discrimination against
Christians.
