What have you done for me lately?

Cordova, TN; October 9, in the year of our Lord 2015--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is pulling back the curtain yet again and sharing a prevalent attitude within the video game industry. It comes down to simple and single question. What have you done for me lately? That is the question. It denotes a short memory, and self-centered focus. Family Friendly Gaming has seen this attitude over and over again from company representatives and people that work for the less than reputable PR firms. They do not care that Family Friendly Gaming has published coverage for their product five times already. They want more, and they want it right now. If they don’t get it they dangle reviewable copies of products out there in a threatening fashion.

Family Friendly Gaming has never succumbed to extortion, corruption, or terrorist tactics. We publish what we want to publish. We do not publish content to receive copies of anything. If we get a reviewable product great. If we don’t oh well. Family Friendly Gaming has the opposite attitude of this question, and in terms of memory. Meaning Family Friendly Gaming has a long memory. We document all of these times we give these companies their way. We keep track, and we remind them when they bring up their threats. We also point out that we have a long history of treating them better than they treat us. We work to open their eyes and hearts to having a focus on others and not on themselves. We also point them towards God and His teachings.

It is my personal hope and prayer that the video game industry turns from its evil ways. It is my personal hope and prayer that the video game industry stops being so self focused, and focus more on helping others. The video game industry could do so much good if it turned from the corruption, back scratching, selfishness, greed, entitlement mentality, and persecution of Christians. If you are in a position to make things better in the video game industry, then do so. What are you waiting for? If you are a fan of video games, then tell these companies you expect morals and ethics from them.

God bless,
Paul Bury
