Banner Saga 2 Releases

BALTIMORE, MD – April 19, in the year of our Lord 2016 – Stoic, an independent game development company, and Versus Evil, one of the independent video game publisher, today launched the Banner Saga 2 for PC and Mac to gamers worldwide. Banner Saga 2 is the exciting sequel to the award winning, BAFTA nominated, indie game The Banner Saga, a Viking role-playing strategy game where a player's choice directly affects their personal journey. The console versions of the game are set to launch this summer.

"The feedback and excitement we received from the Banner Saga 1 really helped us work to make the Banner Saga 2 even better. Huge thanks to the community!" said Arnie Jorgensen, Art Director and one of the founders of Stoic.

“Over the last two years we have been able to launch Banner Saga on multiple platforms and with great success,” said Steve Escalante, GM of Versus Evil. “Now we are entering the next brutal chapter and Stoic has delivered on their promise to deliver a worthy sequel to this epic Viking inspired saga. There is more of what everyone wanted plus more gut wrenching choices. This is the first of many platforms to launch this year and we hope the fans enjoy it as much as we do.”

Banner Saga 2 is available for SRP €19.99/£14.99 through STEAM, Bundle Stars, Direct to Drive, GameFly, GameStop, GamersGate, Humble Store and UPlay. A Deluxe Edition, which includes the official soundtrack by Grammy nominated, two-time BAFTA winning composer Austin Wintory, is also available for €22.99/£18.99.

No word on a physical copy version of this game at this time. Families are required to pay for Internet usage fees to download this game.
