FFG will pay Shipping Costs
Cordova, TN; July 11, in the year of our Lord 2016--Family
Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family
friendly video games is addressing one of the excuses given by
some in BIG PR concerning physical copies and digital downloads.
The excuse goes like this: “we no longer want to pay the
shipping costs to send a physical copy of a video game. We save
money by sending a digital download code.” I have a simple
answer. Family Friendly Gaming will pay the shipping costs. They
have already transferred them to us with digital downloads. They
have already attacked traditional value by redefining how games
are given to gaming media outlets. So the answer to this is
simple. Family Friendly Gaming will pay the shipping costs to
receive a physical copy of those video games.
Technically we already have to pay the shipping costs when we
purchase physical copies of games since we have to pay for the
gas to drive to a retail chain, or the costs of a shipment from
an online purchase. So in a way it will save Family Friendly
Gaming a bit of money. Do you think PR will actually return to
providing physical copies of video games? I am not holding my
breath because I think it is another lame excuse in a long line
of excuses and lies BIG PR likes to tell. The lack of integrity
from millionaire and billionaire video game companies has been
long documented. It is kind of funny these massively rich video
game companies don’t want to spend a few dollars on shipping
costs. Yet poor Family Friendly Gaming is willing to pick up the
tab. What does that tell you?
I look at it like this. If we can do anything within God’s law
here at Family Friendly Gaming to return the entire industry
back to traditional values then we will do it. We are HUGE
supporters of the physical copy movement here at Family Friendly
Gaming. This is another way we can expose the need for physical
copies. This is another way we can fight for consumer rights.
This is another way we can expose the greed from too many video
game companies and their BIG PR paid employees. I will take that
opportunity to report on these issues each and every time we
come across them. For now Family Friendly Gaming has a new
policy. If a company has a physical copy of the game, and wants
to provide a digital version, Family Friendly Gaming will pay
for the shipping costs of the physical copy of the game.
