Farming Simulator 17 Passes the Million Mark
November 24, in the year of our Lord 2016 --
Praised by players around the world, Farming Simulator 17 has
set a new record in the Christmas rush - one million players
have already acquired the game, developed by Giants Software
studio and published by Focus Home Interactive on PC,
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This is almost twice the sales of
the previous instalment at launch, which has since sold over 3
million copies in two years.
PC remains the premier platform with half the sales - the
majority of PC players bought their copy in-store, placing
Farming Simulator 17 at the top of the store PC charts in many
territories including France and Germany.
Farming Simulator is also a record-breaker on Steam, with over
220,000 digital copies sold on this platform. The game is one of
the top-played on Steam, with a highly positive user rating

Although Farming Simulator 17 released on two consoles, versus
four consoles for the previous edition, the game was number one
for in-store sales on all platforms on day one in Germany. It
also placed at No. 3 in Scandinavia, No. 4 in France and No. 5
in England, despite the competition of blockbuster releases
during the same period.
