Lego City Undercover Makes Its Return

Cordova, TN; November 28, in the year of our Lord 2016--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is excited to learn of the news that Lego City Undercover is finally making its return. Family Friendly Gaming has asked for the return of Lego City Undercover for years now. Just when we had given up @wbgames made an announcement on their Twitter feed that:

“Join the Chase! LEGO CITY Undercover is looking for new recruits on PlayStation®4, Xbox One®, Nintendo Switch™ and STEAM® in Spring 2017.”

Lego City Undercover Join the Chase

Looking at the picture we are unclear on this upcoming release. Is it a new game? Is it Lego City Undercover Join the Chase? Or is it a port of Lego City Undercover? Maybe it is a re-mastered version of Lego City Undercover. It is really lame that WB Games released such a small tidbit on Twitter. It would make more sense for them to release a press release, send it out to media outlets, and have screenshots available on their press site. Family Friendly Gaming would happily download screenshots and cover them for our millions of readers. Lord willing that will come in the upcoming months as we get closer to Spring 2017. Hopefully an official press release will come out at some point as well.

I am very curious to see if all of the Mario content will appear on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam versions of Lego City Undercover. I could see it appearing on the Nintendo Switch just fine. Would Nintendo allow all of that content on a competitor’s system? I also wonder if WB Games will take over the publishing of Lego City Undercover. On the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS it was Nintendo who published Lego City Undercover, and Lego City Undercover The Chase Begins. Will that change anything? Right now we have plenty of questions as it surrounds our excitement over the return of Lego City Undercover. Ultimately this is an exciting return of a well loved franchise. We still play Lego City Undercover and Lego City Undercover The Chase Begins on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS respectively.

God bless,
