Atari Brings New Mobile Games to E3 2017

New York, NY (June 7, in the year of our Lord 2017) - Atari®, one of the world's most recognized publishers and producers of interactive entertainment, today announced they will be previewing several mobile titles at E3 2017, the world’s premier event for computer, video and mobile games. Attendees have the opportunity to get a first look at newly announced titles Goon Squad™ and Lunar Battle™, as well as future content for the highly-successful RollerCoaster Tycoon® Touch™.

Based on RollerCoaster Tycoon®, one of the best-selling franchises in PC gaming history, RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch is an innovative, 3D simulation game where players can build, manage and share their coolest park creations with friends from all over the world. Released in early 2017 on mobile devices, RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch has been downloaded over seven million times in three months and soared to the top of the charts after being featured on the App Store and Google Play. During E3, Atari will share details on upcoming features and the next big update based on the product roadmap.

Goon Squad drops players into an underworld ruled by mobsters, gambling and fast-paced card battles. Players can plot a path from Goon to Godfather in the repeat-pay-to-play mobile title, collecting cards to rise through the ranks and build the ultimate criminal empire.

Lunar Battle is a new city-builder and space shooter that crash lands players into an epic deep space adventure to explore uncharted terrain and conquer the galaxy. The free-to-play game incorporates arcade-style combat elements originally popularized in classic Atari space shooters such as Asteroids™ and Star Raiders® into a base-building experience for mobile.
