Haters Diminish Community

Cordova, TN; May 8, in the year of our Lord 2017--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is explaining why online haters is a bad thing. Truth be told this should not even need to be explained. Since it keeps happening, then there is a need for this article. I did not want to deal with the evil, vile, wickedness in online games again. I had a recent experience with an online game where the mean, hate filled online gamers showed yet again the depths of depravity in too many in the online video games. The companies behind these games do not even seem to care either. The more I thought, prayed, and talked about this issue the more I realized the logical problem with the haters in the online gaming community. They shrink the community.

I have stopped playing online games after online game because of the anti-Christian haters. I have stopped playing online games because of the profanity filled environments. I have stopped playing online games because of the hatred of noobs. I have stopped playing online games because of the sexism against men, and the racism against white people in too many of these communities. I am not the only person who says no to online games. Others feel the same way. That means the community of those playing online games is smaller than it could be. As I write articles on this issue, there are even more gamers who will not participate in these games. As noobs are treated poorly, that means less new gamers getting into the game. Remember we all were noobs at these games at some point in time. Eventually long time online gamers leave the game, which continues to shrink the community.

What can be done to solve the problem? Maybe we need to drain the swamp of the profanity, hatred, and wickedness in the online gaming community. Maybe we need to allow safer environments for families and new gamers (aka noobs). At the very least give family and new gamers a choice for a safe online gaming experience. I cannot find that in the recent online games I had these bad experiences in. Why am I denied that choice? Why is venom, vile, vitriol, hatred, racism, sexism, religious discrimination, and more allowed at such alarming levels? When will good people stand up against the evil in online games? When will the companies decide they want a safe environment for Christians? The haters are diminishing, and shrinking the communities in a way that hurts the image of the video game industry as a whole.

God bless,
