Yonder The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Now Available
BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND - July 18, in the year of our
Lord 2017 - Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles, the
open-world adventure from the former Activision producer and
Rocksteady veterans at Prideful Sloth where players explore the
vibrant but troubled land of Gemea, is out now for PlayStation 4
and PC.
Set on an island paradise plagued by a mysterious dark force,
Yonder tells the story of a young adventurer returning to a home
they never knew. After washing ashore, the hero befriends the
locals and encounters magical sprites capable of dispelling the
Murk corrupting the realm.
Throughout their quest to save Gemea, players will farm, craft,
cook, brew and fish across eight distinct biomes that range from
snow-capped peaks to radiant, sandy beaches. In addition to
featuring seasonal changes and dynamic day/night cycles, these
habitats are teeming with a multitude of adorable creatures to
discover, domesticate and dote over back at the farm.
"Yonder provides a beautiful, comfortable place for people to
enjoy, regardless of what they choose to do there," said Cheryl
Vance, co-founder and director at Prideful Sloth. "This project
is unlike anything our team had the chance to create while we
were in the AAA space, and we're elated to have the opportunity
to offer the gaming community a different type of experience to
savor."
Boxed copies of Yonder are on sale at major retailers across the
globe and a limited edition is available exclusively through
Signature Edition Games. Yonder is also available digitally for
$19.99 USD / €23.99 via the PlayStation Store and Steam, but
will retail for $24.99 USD / €22.99 on Steam after the launch
week sale.
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is playable in English,
French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
