Football monopoly needs to end
Cordova, TN; February 19, in the year of our Lord
2018--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in
covering the family friendly video games is officially
announcing our total and complete support behind the movement to
end the football monopoly. This includes the NFL’s greedy
strangle hold over so called professional football. It also
encompasses the deal the NFL has made with EA Sports to allow
them to be the only video game company to make football video
games. Both of these monopolies have been bad. The time for them
to end is now. Family Friendly Gaming is going completely and
totally public with this opinion. Do you support it? Do you
agree with it? Do you disagree with it? Do you appreciate the
monopolies? Where do you stand on this issue?
In 2020 the NFL will finally get some competition again. The XFL
is returning. Family Friendly Gaming completely supports
someone, anyone taking on the monopoly the NFL has currently. As
far as video games go there is no official news on any kind of
competition to the EA Sports video games. Greed is the biggest
problem here. The NFL is profiting from all of the millions of
dollars EA Sports sends them. They take the cash and pad their
pockets while they lose viewership and offend millions of
Americans. EA Sports should not be able to buy this monopoly.
This goes against the antitrust laws in America. How have they
gotten away with it? The NFL has repeatedly made the wrong
choices and decisions in recent years. Keeping the monopoly with
EA Sports is just another one.
It is my personal hope that the XFL will have video game
competition. It is my hope that the US Congress will look at the
NFL and EA Sports in an official investigation. It is my hope
that competition will return to football, and video game
football. I still play retro football video games because they
are better than many of the current Madden NFL video games. What
