From ROM to Physical
Cordova, TN; January 8, in the year of our Lord 2018--Family
Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family
friendly video games is discussing a very cool trend going on in
the video game industry. What is this trend? Can you participate
in this trend? The movement from ROM to physical copy is going
on. It is alive and well in the video game industry. We have
been buying games from at least one of these companies. The
quality of their games is fantastic. What is the name of the
company you may ask? OCD Reproductions is the name of this
company. We have been very pleased with the quality of their
work thus far. Want to know more about OCD Reproductions? Then
please continue to read this story. They are giving games an
opportunity too many gaming companies failed to do. What is this
opportunity you ask? Please read on.
There are Japanese video games that never were released in the
United States, and/or they are hacks of games. The games were in
ROM format and have been burned onto a physical copy. We have
purchased multiple games from OCD Reproductions. We have been
pleased with each and every single game. We are also pleased
with their honest disclosure of mistakes and issues in these
games. They have been translated into English. There is art work
on the games. If you have wanted certain games to be translated
from Japanese, and they are retro games you might find it at OCD
Reproductions. If not you can ask them about it. Make sure you
read their FAQ first to make sure the question has not already
been answered. That FAQ is found on their home page. OCD
Reproductions is doing a fantastic service for the gaming
community.
I hope to find out about more companies like OCD Reproductions
in the future. There have been too many video games lost in the
past. There are too many games that did not receive the physical
copy treatment. OCD Reproductions has fixed that. I have found
games on OCD Reproductions that I did not even know existed. I
hope this business flourishes and grows with each and every
year. I will warn you that prices over at OCD Reproductions can
be on the high side. I do not claim to know all of their costs
in manufacturing these games on these different retro
cartridges. So my ignorance to that facet of the business may
have something to do with it. I am thankful OCD Reproductions is
there and selling these games.
