Make Them in America
Cordova, TN; October 15, in the year of our Lord 2018--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is addressing a fear some have floated in certain video game media circles. There is a concern there will be tariffs on video games. Why would that happen? A wide array of countries that put tariffs on American products. This makes trade imbalanced and unfair. President Trump was elected and started trying to balance the very unfair trade practices. What did he do? He stood up and said if you are going to put tariffs on our products we will return the favor. Some people are shouting and screaming it will hurt Americans because prices of foreign goods will go up.
I have a different opinion on this topic. Instead of freaking out that foreign goods will increase in price, I think we should have more companies produce similar products in America. There are plenty of things that used to be made in America that are not anymore. As the prices of the foreign goods increase there is a real possibility for American companies to compete again in those markets. There have been plenty of people who created video games for the first time all over the world. Why can’t we have that happen more often in America?
There is a possibility of all kinds of cool new games, mascots and more. There may be some cool new technologies and systems created here in America. I think we should see more video games made in America. I love buying clothing that was made in America. I love buying equipment made in America. I would like to see more video games that are made in America. What about you? How do you feel about this topic? Are you freaking out about tariffs? Do you see a chance for some cool video games that reflect the founding beliefs of America?
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
Paul Bury
