Say Goodbye to Nintendo Creators Program
Cordova, TN; December 10, in the year of our Lord 2018--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is announcing some exciting news. Nintendo has decided to shut down the Nintendo Creator’s Program. There have been plenty of complaints about the Nintendo Creator’s Program from its inception. Nintendo was criticized heavily before they had a video policy since they were seen as so selfish, self centered, and self absorbed. They did not comprehend the reality that when we do videos of games they publish we are giving them a free advertisement. They make sales off of our hard work. Plus we are transforming their copyrighted content into something new.
Family Friendly Gaming has already noticed when we upload new videos Nintendo is not making copyright claims. This helps us earn a bit more ad revenue and saves Nintendo all kinds of money in not having to research each submitted video. Supposedly by the end of December in the year of our Lord 2018 we should see a removal of all of the Nintendo Creator’s Program copyright claims. Then we can monetize all of them and things will be right in the video recording world. It is great to see Nintendo do this. They are now freeing up resources for themselves and for video content creators.
Here is the official statement from Nintendo:
“Dear Nintendo Creator,
We want to share some news with you.
We are ending the Nintendo Creators Program (NCP) to make it easier for you to make and monetize videos that contain Nintendo game content. We will no longer ask you to submit your videos to the NCP, and you can continue showing your passion for Nintendo as long as you adhere to Nintendo’s guidelines, located at https://www.nintendo.co.jp/networkservice_guideline/index.html.
The NCP will come to a close at the end of December 2018. Please note that we are no longer accepting videos and channels, and will not review any that have been submitted, but not yet registered. All registered videos and channels will end their affiliation with the NCP by December 6, 2018, and revenue generated through that date will be paid to your registered PayPal account by February 2019.
We appreciate and encourage your continued support.
Thank you for your dedication to helping us create smiles.
Nintendo Co., Ltd.”
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
Paul Bury
