Stigma of Digital Downloads
Cordova, TN; July 30, in the year of our Lord 2018--Family
Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family
friendly video games is recognizing a reality in the video game
industry. Video games that come in the digital download only
format are generally considered not as good as games that appear
in the physical copy format. Do you agree? Do you disagree?
Should it be that way? Why is it that way? How do you feel about
gamers and media outlets that look down upon digital
downloadable video games? Do you recognize the stigma associated
with digital only downloadable video games? What do you think
can be done for digital only downloadable video games to rise
above their low stature?
Some people might call me a snob for writing this article. Some
people might attack me for pointing out the quality of digital
downloads are generally lower than physical copies. Like
everything there can be exceptions. I have noticed as a
generalization most digital downloads are not as well done as
physical copy video games. This is something we have discussed
at length here at Family Friendly Gaming. Digital downloads are
forgotten much quicker. Digital downloads usually have retro
and/or indie graphics. Digital downloads seem to lag in almost
every single area. One of the reasons digital downloads are
forgotten is there is no case, and no cartridge or disc to
remind you of the game.
Another facet of this issue relates to how it is tied into the
evil political correctness movement. A lot of people are
standing up to the evils of political correctness. A lot of
people are refusing to be shoved into such a rigid, vile, and
wicked belief set. Digital downloads are hailed as being
environmentally safe, and better for the planet. The radicals on
the far left in the gaming media push for this to happen. They
did not expect such a large backlash. They did not expect the
physical copy movement to catch fire. They did not expect to be
ignored. They expected to be revered and obeyed. These radicals
never were in tune with the people, and they were never in touch
with reality. So the stigma relating to digital downloadable
games are partially to blame of these far leftists radicals
trying to force their beliefs on the rest of us. How do you feel
