All The Bad Players Are Gone

Cordova, TN; March 11, in the year of our Lord 2019--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is exploring an interesting concept and occurrence. As Fortnite entered Season Eight many of us noticed the competition got better. I read someone’s post on Twitter complaining all of the bad players left Fortnite and went over to Apex Legends. Only the really good players were left. There are plenty of other scenarios that are just as plausible. By the way I personally do not think inexperienced Fortnite players will enjoy Apex Legends. I tried that game and hated it. I am probably on this person’s list as a bad player. I am slowly getting better.

With the new content coming out it is highly plausible that Fortnite players who are really good came back to the game. They could have gotten bored with the game and came back for the new content. They may have been over on Apex Legends and have come back. They will eventually get bored again and leave. Another possibility is the bad Fortnite players got tired of being killed over and over again. The lack of help from other players may have sent them away. It is not fun dying over and over again. They might have decided to spend their time doing something they enjoy. They might have decided to play a game where they can actually win from time to time.

I have questioned the match making in Fortnite before. Even when I started playing for the first time I was thrown to the wolves and playing against players way better than me. Epic Games needs to improve this big time. It would be more fun for new players to only play against other new players. Then a few of us could get a win here or there. Another possibility is there has been a rash of hacks being released. I recently had a match where other players were extremely suspect. I was enclosed in a steel construct of my own making waiting for a supply drop. Someone shot me through that steel construct (one by two) with a shotgun and killed me in one shot. Another person shot me in the body in the same match and killed me with one shot(I had 150 health) with a machine gun. Were they hacking?

Are there any scenarios you can think of? There are a variety of different things that could be going on. In fact it could be a combination of things. Anthem could be another reason some people have left Fortnite. I do think if a lot of the bad players left it is because they are not having any fun. Getting killed over and over again is not fun. That brings me back to the abysmal match making in Fortnite. If you have never won a solo match then you should only play with others who have also never won a solo match. That would allow more different people to win. We would also never face them again if they win a solo match. At least not until we win a solo match ourselves.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
