Dark Side of Gaming - Unprofessionalism

Cordova, TN; January 28, in the year of our Lord 2019--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing our exploration of the dark side of gaming. We are also exposing many of the behind the scene things that happen. Others in the gaming media can substantiate these experiences. It has happened to many of us too many times. The issue this time is unprofessionalism. Jesus said: “All you need to say is simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.” – Matthew 5:37. Way too often those in PR and Marketing make promises they have no intention of keeping.

For years I have noticed a certain pattern of behavior from video game PR and Marketing folks. They make promises when questions are asked. This is done so we will spend our time and money editing and publishing their press releases. Then when it is time to pay the piper so to speak they vanish. This involves answering the phone, returning phone calls, returning emails, and more. They are all smiles in person to get their way, and then blank faced when confronted with their lies. Why are they being so evil? Why can’t they keep their word? If you are not sure about providing a reviewable copy – don’t promise one in the first place.

I personally see this behavior as very cowardly. Too many video game PR and Marketing folks fail Family Friendly Gaming. It makes planning for coverage very difficult. If they would simply use yes and no, and keep to their word things would be better. I have noticed a major decline in morals, and ethics from video game PR and Marketing folks for years now. They seem to feel it is their right to discriminate against Christians, conservatives, and those who refuse to be their slaves. This definitely revolves around the swamp of corruption in the video game industry that needs to be cleaned up. Now you know the word of someone in video game PR and Marketing is about worthless.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
