Light Side of Gaming - Feedback
Cordova, TN; July 15, in the year of our Lord 2019--Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing our series the Light Side of gaming. This time we want to focus on the feedback. I know what many of ya’ll are thinking and/or saying right now. Can’t feedback be a bad thing? Can’t feedback be part of the dark side of gaming? That can depend on your perspective. Sure we get feedback that cannot be published because it is mean, hateful, rude, ugly, nasty, profane and worse. That does happen. Even though we see it we are thankful someone took the time to tell us out of all of the writings and/or videos on the planet ours was the absolutely worst. We comprehend diversity. Not everyone likes the same things.
This column is going to focus on the feedback that we can use. It astounds me on a daily basis how many wonderful ideas are sent our way. If you read the Sound Off section in the Family Friendly Gaming magazine and e-magazine then you have seen some of these wonderful ideas. Company executives should be sending us money on a monthly basis for all of these ideas we publish. They could make bank if they implemented some of these ideas. Maybe there are a few reading this right now, and they will be prompted to step up and help out. That could be an all new light side of gaming article.
We also get all kinds of encouragement in feedback. I have lost track of how many people that have thanked us over the years. They thank us for the videos. They thank us for the magazine. They thank us for our articles. They thank us for making the press releases family friendly. They thank us for who we are and what we do. I feel so blessed to have so many people be so supportive and encouraging. There are days I am down in the dumps, or exhausted from trying to serve so many different people that I need the encouragement to get through the day.
