Light Side of Gaming - Listeners
Cordova, TN; July 22, in the year of our Lord 2019 --Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing our brand new series. This is the Light Side of gaming. The Dark Side of gaming has been around for some time now. To be fair and balanced we should also touch upon the good, wonderful, and awesome things happening in the video game industry. There have been stories in the past on the positive things. I do not recall given them a label for Family Friendly Gaming to rally behind. That is what this series will be and attempt to do. I say attempt because we are far from perfect. I am far from perfect. Let us keep going on this series.
We say a lot of things here at Family Friendly Gaming. We have said a lot of things since 2005 when we started Family Friendly Gaming. It is always awesome to hear from someone who is obviously listening. Whether they tell us they are creating Christian based video games on consoles or they are coming on board as an advertiser, we know they were listening to what we said. We plant all kinds of seeds here at Family Friendly Gaming. We never know when some company executive or PR contact will come back to us with a response to something we said. Maybe it is a Red News article, something in the magazine, preview, review, or something else we reach a lot of people. The responses we get are overwhelming at times.
We also know there are plenty of readers and viewers out there listening. We get tons of feedback concerning work we have done in the video game industry. We get a lot of feedback on our videos on Youtube, and chat on Twitch. We get plenty of emails asking us about pages we have published. We consistently have fun comments in the Sound Off section. We get responses on Twitter, and Facebook as well. Each and every one of them is a response to something we have said. Which means we are being listened to. Even companies that got mad at us and black listed us proved they listened – even if it was half hearted. We see all kinds of ways we are listened to. Haters have worked hard to attack us on hater websites. They listened, grabbed a few key words and then went on the attack. Again even those that are half listening are getting some of what we say. Which is great that they are hearing a voice of diversity in the video game media industry.
