Massira Releases

Madrid, February 20th, in the year of our Lord 2019 -- Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain (SIE Spain) and indie developers Frost Monkey announce the release of Massira, a low-poly puzzle and exploration game that puts players in the shoes of Numi, a girl forced to leave her house in Syria with her grandmother Yara. Together they will flee the war making the long journey from Syria to Europe. Inspired by real facts and experiences, with deep social roots and a beautifully crafted art style, players will face many different problems from the protagonist’s imaginative and naïve point of view. Massira is now available for digital download on the PlayStation®Store for €12.99 / (PEGI 7).

The team that made this game possible is the Spanish indie studio Frost Monkey, which won the Best Art Award in the 4th Edition of the PlayStation® Awards, and which had the support of Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain through its programme of support for indie developers PlayStation® Talents.

No word on a physical copy version of this game on this system in the US at this time. Families are required to pay for Internet usage fees to download this game. For more information click here.
