All Lives Matter

Cordova, TN; June 8, in the year of our Lord 2020 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. Like so many millions of Americans I am sick and tired of those trying to divide us. I am sick and tired of all those racists demanding that one race be treated better than the other races. I am sick and tired of hearing how one race deserves preferential treatment. We all have problems. We all have issues. We all have pains. I have talked about racism and hatred I have faced in my life in a variety of different columns I have written. Some do not want to hear about how I have faced racism and pain in my life. I still smile, and I still treat people of all races with respect.

I have lived my life with this definition of racism – giving someone preferential or detrimental treatment based on race. I looked up the definition of Dictionary.com and found this definition:

“1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.”

All of those people saying black lives are more important than white lives, asian lives, hispanic lives, native American lives, and every other race is being racist by the definition from the dictionary. They are saying they want to lower the value of lives of all races but theirs. That is in its essence the quintessential definition of racism. I am shocked that there are so many people in the media, and on social media advocating such a racist stance.

You might find this controversial. You might disagree with me. You also might be a racist according to the dictionary. I believe all lives matter and all lives are equal. We have all sinned and we have all fallen short. None of us are innocent. Sure not all of us are career criminals who spread all kinds of pain and misery. Even the best of us is worthy of immediate punishment from God. We are all living on grace and borrowed time. I know that I am deserving of God’s holy punishment. I repent on a daily basis, treat everyone the same (with respect), and strive to be more like Christ on a daily basis. It can be a struggle when group think is running rampant with half truth, lies, and racism.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
