Helpful Tips for Being at Home
Cordova, TN; March 30, in the year of our Lord 2020 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is sharing some helpful thoughts on cabin fever and those hunkering down during the COVID-19 times. Do everything you can to get some fresh air. You can walk outside and keep six feet between you and another human being. Find opportunities to smile. Maybe you are in a Zoom meeting, or a Microsoft Teams video share, or some other video share program. Smile from time to time during those meetings. It will brighten the day of your friends, family, and co-workers. Take breaks when you are working from home. Take breaks when you are doing school work at home.
Some people are social people. Others are not as social. The ones that are not as social are probably loving this hunkering down. They will not get cabin fever as quickly as the social butterflies. There are a variety of ways you can keep in touch with others. In fact the song by JD McCrary lists some of them. There are phones, email, chat programs, video conferencing and more. Take a break and talk with family members. There are all kinds of things to talk about. What will you do with stimulus money? What do you want to do when you first get out? What fun things can be done at home? Are there projects in your yard you can get to?
What are nice things you can do for your family? Many are not used to this working from home. It can be a shock for some. I personally have always loved it. I have always enjoyed it. Staying out of traffic puts me in a better mood because there is always someone on the road suffering from the center of the universe disease. I love being at home. After being at home all day I love taking a walk in the neighborhood. Most neighbors keep distance especially during these times. Which is fine with me. I don’t mind one bit. Remember to breath, and find time to relax. Enjoy it while you get to do it.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
