Surrounded by Blessings
Cordova, TN; August 31, in the year of our Lord 2020 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. We human beings have a bad habit of seeing the worst in things. Many people will say: “expect the worst and then be surprised if it actually works.” I myself can get down in the dumps about a variety of things that happen. If you have read the red (FFG Original stories) for some time now then you know I have faced a wide array of adversity in my life. I have dealt with incompetence in the medical community to corruption in the courts. I have faced discrimination based on my races, age, color of my skin, relationship with Jesus Christ, political views, and more. The psycho haters in the Cancel Culture have come after me more than once. It is so easy to get sick of all of the vile, wicked, evil hatred that comes at us.
I fight to be positive. Some days it can be every single hour. I still look for the best in others. I want those doing such venomous acts to repent from their sins and turn from their lifestyle of ugliness. I want them to reject the lies from Satan, and embrace the truth of God. Some days are more difficult than others. Do I really feel that great wallowing in self pity and loathing? Does it make the world a better place to accept the lies of the haters? The people who love death and destruction are worshipping 2020 because of all of the issues and strife. I refuse to join them in their evil. I choose to fix my eyes upon Jesus. I choose to focus on the positives instead of the negatives. I choose to be thankful for every single minute. I choose to be thankful for all of the people God has put into my life.
We have so many blessings in our lives that we take for granted way too often. I know that statement is completely true for me. I feel better when I focus on the good in my life. God gave me a wife, and two wonderful children. I have been given an amazing ministry that reaches millions all over the world. God provides finances for us to do this work. God provides the money to pay for things like the mortgage and car loan. Family Friendly Gaming continues to grow, develop, mature and improve. I have been given so many years with so many people. I am fed and clothed. I have ideas for some great Christian video games. I have written multiple books. We have a large amount of subscribers on Youtube. We reach people through Twitter and Twitch. As I focus on what I have I realize that I am surrounded by blessings.
