The Return of the XFL
Cordova, TN; February 17, in the year of our Lord 2020 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is sharing our opinion of the return of the XFL. I liked it. I liked it a lot. I love most of the rule changes the XFL made from the NFL. The new kick offs make sense, and keep players safer and healthier. I am hoping to see improvement from the teams as they gel together better. There was some competitive football in the Seattle Dragons versus the Washington DC Defenders for three quarters. The Tampa Bay Vipers versus the New York Guardians was not as close. I did feel like they could have come back at some point though. It just never happened.
As you can probably tell I am writing this after watching the first week of the XFL. I like the point conversion choices. I think it could be easier to score from the ten than the two personally. I hope to see the three point tries at some point in the future. Are onside kicks totally out of the XFL? The clock rules in the last two minutes of the half and game is a cool new feature. I love how each team has their own balls. The communications and behind the scenes view is pretty neat in the XFL. I enjoyed seeing the replay official and hearing him as opposed to looking at referees standing on the field. The communications between coach and players is also really tight.
The ten minute half time is great in my book. We get back to the game pretty quickly. I noticed they let players hit in the XFL for the most part. There were a few calls that looked like clean hits to me. I am also happy to see so many people talking about how cool the XFL was. I plan on continuing to check out the XFL as their season progresses. I like the idea of playing in smaller stadiums. To me the XFL is like the minor leagues in baseball. I expect some good players going on to the NFL. I also hope to see the XFL and the NFL partner somehow in the near future.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
