We Will Get Them Eventually
Cordova, TN; November 23 in the year of our Lord 2020 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. We have received a plethora of questions about the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. We are currently unable to answer them due to the reality we do not current have either system on site. We have reached out to Sony and Microsoft’s PR multiple times requesting units be sent to use like they did for smaller and less relevant gaming website. Thus far there has not been one response from either of these companies that claim to have professionals working for them. So the answer to – should you buy one right now is no. Hold off and be patient. I know this will cost Sony and Microsoft hundreds of thousands to millions of sales. Not much I can do about that.
At Family Friendly Gaming we believe in having actual on-site experiences with products before we give you our recommendation to purchase. Until that happens we keep the red light up and discourage purchases. This is not retribution for their lack of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Hatred and discrimination against Christians in the video game industry runs deep. Why should your family financially support those trying to destroy you? When close to eighty percent of Americans self identify as Christian then close to eighty percent of the video game industry should be Christian. It is probably somewhere between one and five percent. We need equal representation in the industry. Family Friendly Gaming continues to fight for that. We continue to stand up for those being oppressed in the video game industry. We will not stop just because we face venom, hatred, discrimination and black listing for our hope and faith in Jesus Christ.
Sony has been worse than Microsoft as of late. Sony changed their press site and did not tell us. We reported the errors on the old press site every week for a month before finding out there was a new one. We have registered every week for two months on the new press site and reached out to every single Sony contact we have. No response at all. A professional would respond. If they have some legitimate reason for not wanting to give Family Friendly Gaming access to press materials they should say what it is. Not hide their heads in the sand as we keep coming by week after week. Their cowardice is showing through. They hope we will give up and go away. We won’t. We will go public with their disgraceful behaviour and tell you that we interpret it as they want no sales from Family Friendly Gaming Universe ever again. As their bottom line takes a hit they might decide to move toward the direction of being honorable.
We attempted to purchase a Xbox One Series X and Sony Playstation 5 locally. None of the retailers had units to sell us. Some like Walmart were more messed up than others. There were seven units at the store and we were number six in line. The manager had a piece of paper from corporate that said send people to the website to purchase. The website said purchase in the store. There were some heated angry people in that managers face. We just left. At some point we will be able to purchase one. Plus there really are very few new games for these two systems. Hopefully next year is better. As of right now there is nothing making us feel like we are missing anything. When we play the new games they will be new to us. We encourage all ya’ll to be patient. Do not over spend on these new machines. They are expensive enough as is. Eventually they will be in stock, and eventually purchases will be made. Then we will give you our honest, unbiased, and not bought off opinion.
