2020 Year in Review
Cordova, TN; January 4 in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. There has been so much toxicity toward 2020 that it can be difficult to write anything positive. First and foremost we experienced all kinds of growth and improvements in 2020 here at Family Friendly Gaming. Sponsored videos took off in 2020 in amazing ways. We are now live streaming sponsored videos on YouTube to great success. The subscribers, members, and sponsors are all extremely happy with them. We have exploded with more live streams than ever before.
More companies have paid for advertisements on Family Friendly Gaming in 2020 than they did in 2019. We have made in roads with all kinds of companies in 2020 that we never worked with before. We broke records in 2020 in terms of website hits. We received wonderful donations from those that care about Family Friendly Gaming continuing to exist. More videos, news stories, reviews and previews were released in 2020 than in 2019. Fiverr videos took off and grew. Catapult through Indie Boost grew in mighty ways. We added Parler as a new social media outlet. We put more videos on Bitchute and Daily Motion. Followers and revenue drastically grew on Twitch. The growth for Family Friendly Gaming in 2020 from 2019 has been tremendous.
We saw more family friendly titles coming out in 2020 than we did in 2019. Retro gaming continued to thrive for families as well in 2020. Our video backlog campaign worked and was brought down to manageable levels in 2020. Our transition from streaming to review to video was cut down to really efficient levels. Many of our video series were moved to live streams and flourished because of that business decision. YouTube money grew from 2019 to 2020. With additional revenue we were able to purchase more improvements than we expected to. We actually have the money sitting for the purchase of the PS5 and Xbox Series X when we are able to make a purchase. The FFG video game wish list dropped down to levels never before seen.
We are sitting really good going into 2021. We need to keep the momentum and continue to improve. We have a variety of ideas on how to make things even better. We are looking at purchasing a new laptop for the video uploading. We are looking at backdrops with our logo on it. We are looking at an improved camera for the webcam work. We are hoping and praying to grow everything in 2021 that grew in 2020. If we want to do this full time we need to position ourselves to get there financially. FFG Politics will release in 2021. We are also looking at other expansions that might be very interesting to you and your family. Nothing official to announce yet. We see the video game industry shifting back toward families again. Hopefully that continues in 2021.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
Paul Bury
