Cancel Culture is Evil
Cordova, TN; November 22, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. For over a decade and a half we have written about the attempts to redefine morals, ethics, institutions, words, history, gender, and more. Cancel culture are the bullies that are trying to enforce the redefined system. Here is my problem with what they are doing. Their attempts to redefine the existing system assume everyone goes along with the redefinitions. There is this assumption that we should all join them in open rebellion against God. Here is the problem for them – at least half of America refuses to accept their attempts to redefine reality. We respond with things like The Emperor’s New Clothes. The cancel culture bullies do not like that very much. How dare we stand up to them with facts, reality and science?
It is evil to try and destroy a fellow human being for having a diverse viewpoint from you on a specific topic. This is exactly what cancel culture does. It deems certain people with certain ideas to be deplorable and to have no right to exist in this world. What gives the cancel culture haters the right to sit in judgement on their fellow human beings? God is clear that we all must forgive or He will not forgive us. Right there the cancel culture is showing how it is embracing open rebellion against God. Since they will not forgive then God will not forgive them. I do not want to destroy them for their evil ways. I want them to turn from their evil ways. I want them to repent and humble themselves. I want them to live a better life, and walk a better path. I cannot sit by quietly as they attack person after person. All because the people they attack are diverse from them. All because the people they attack choose to obey God over man.
I know people that live in fear because of the angry hate filled mob of the cancel culture. They are worried about what they say, how they say it, and who might hear. This is ridiculous. We have freedom of speech in America not freedom from speech. You can disagree without being disagreeable. You can dissent without trying to destroy. If you don’t want to eat at Chic Fil-A or shop at Hobby Lobby that is fine. What is not fine is trying to take them away from everyone who wants to. Why do you get to decide where the rest of us eat and shop? Who gave you that authority? I never did, and I know plenty of people who agree with me on this. When I was in public school I stood up to the bullies and protected the weak. I am still doing that to this day with this article. Enough is enough. Live and let live. Disagree and go about your day. Stop going on crusades to ruin the lives of those you do not agree with.
