Evercade Impresses

Cordova, TN; May 17, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I am constantly looking for good news for families. I try and find out information on awesome upcoming video games from Christian Game Developers. I look for good news on the physical copy format for families. I try to find some cool information on retro video games. I try and find companies that encourage the morals and ethics that draw us closer to God. Most of the time I feel like slave labor because my hard work benefits so many others. Very few do much to help us out here at Family Friendly Gaming. I don't do it looking for reciprocation. I don't do it to receive appreciation. I do it because God called me to do it.

The Evercade hand held system impressed me greatly once I found out about it. Hopefully you read the press release we published on the Evercade VS. That system has all kinds of potential as well. The Evercade takes compilations of video games and puts them onto cartridges. In essence the Evercade is compilations of ROMS put onto the physical copy format. As I write this article the cartridges are generally company based. So Atari collections, Atari Lynx collections, Data East, Interplay, Jaleco and more. This is brilliant for streamers and content creators of videos. This gives us an easy way to record some of these retro systems that would require some amazing daisy chaining to get them working.

I love the physical copy nature of the Evercade. I love how these retro games are being brought back in a way that families can enjoy. The pricing of the systems and cartridges is extremely reasonable. In most cases the price of the Evercade cartridge is less than purchasing all of those games by themselves on the original systems. I also appreciate how the Evercade can easily connect to a television through the mini HDMI to HDMI cable (please note we had to purchase that cable seperately). I hope the Evercade does extremely well. I hope there are more and more compilation cartridges released on the Evercade. This little system is modern day retro gaming done right. I rarely geek out on things. Evercade is one of those things I am geeking out on.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
