Evercade VS Announced
April 23, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Evercade VS is the new, compact home console from Evercade. Designed for gamers and retro enthusiasts to play together, Evercade VS brings the physical retro gaming experience to the television. Evercade VS uses the same cartridge system as Evercade Handheld, meaning over four decades of retro gaming are available out of the box. It also comes with a new, ergonomically designed, retro-inspired controller that will support any retro control scheme. Whether you're a seasoned fan or exploring retro games for the first time, Evercade VS brings that experience to your home.

Up To 4 Player
Evercade VS expands the possibilities of retro gaming at home. The VS allows support for up to four players with the newly designed Evercade USB Controllers, and many other third-party controllers. Using the Evercade Cartridge system, the existing game library already supports several multiplayer titles that are available without any need for updates, with more to be released in 2021 and beyond.
Dual Cartridge
The Dual Cartridge slot allows for two cartridges to be selectable at the same time. Allowing for up to 40 games to be available to play instantly, with all save states stored on the cartridge.
Legacy Support
Evercade VS uses the same cartridge system as the Evercade Handheld. Meaning that the existing library of over 280 games and 20+ game cartridges are already compatible with Evercade VS*.
Full HD Display
The Evercade VS outputs in 1080p using HDMI. With its 1.5Ghz quad-core processor, this makes the Evercade VS one of the most powerful compact consoles available.
Built-In WiFi
Thanks to its built-in Wi-Fi, the Evercade VS can easily update its firmware with any new features and improvements. It will also allow for online features in future software updates.
Over 280 Games
The Evercade family of systems supports the retro-inspired Evercade Game Cartridges, which contain a curated collection of officially licensed games from some of the world's best publishers. With stone-cold classics from Atari, Codemasters, Data East, Interplay, Team 17, Piko Interactive, and Jaleco, and modern retro gems from Mega Cat Studios and Bitmap Bureau, over 280 games across 26 Cartridges will be available by the end of 2021 for the Evercade systems*.
*Namco Museum collections (cartridges 02 and 06) are not compatible with Evercade VS due to being exclusively licensed to the Handheld.
