I Will Tell You What I Want

Cordova, TN; July 19, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. One of the questions I really do not like answering very often is the core of this article. I decided to go on record and tell all ya'll what I want. I will tell you what I want. I have all these ideas swirling around in my head. I have all these things I want to do. I try this and I try that to make them come to reality. Some things have come to reality and some things are still on the drawing board. If God allows me to get to them then awesome. If I never get to them then that is okay. I would not say its awesome because not getting some of these things done would be unfortunate. I won't rail against God about it though. I won't complain about it. I will accept it.

I want to be able to do Family Friendly Gaming full time. It is amazing all of this hard work we have done that has helped millions of families all over the globe does not financially pay. All of these companies that have profited off of our hard work have not paid any financial dividends. I have come to realize too many in PR and Marketing see us as slave labor. They see us as a way for them to profit. Our needs are not even considered once. I have read over and over again people in PR and Marketing asking if they can do anything to assist in our coverage. Why yes you can. You can send advertisements and sponsorships our way. That would help us tremendously. Guess what? They won't do it. I realized its not a genuine offer of assistance. Its fake, and a total lie. I have a day job to pay the bills. Yolanda has a part time job to help pay the bills. Peter and Noah are looking at getting day jobs. What we do here at FFG does not pay. Most of the work we do is pro bono.

I have some wonderful ideas for amazing, fun, fresh, and cool video games. I don't have the time, money, or training to make these come to reality. I know they would do well. I know families would embrace these games. I know churches would be able to get behind games like the ideas I have. Without the money to pay a team to make them they sit there on the shelf. Without the financial resources they will never come true. Sadly I know there are plenty of others out there in the same boat as me on that. There are some pretty cool video game ideas that never get made. I have ideas for new books, and an entire new book series. Again it comes down to time and money. Lord willing that will change at some point in the future. Until then I keep coming up with great ideas and pray. When God's timing is right these will make it to the market place and Family Friendly Gaming Universe can support them. These are the things I want. You asked and I have provided the answer.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
