Make it a Lifestyle not a Campaign
Cordova, TN; September 13, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I have noticed a major problem at a plethora of churches I have gone to over decades. Too many of the pastors claim they can't help out a fellow believer because it would mean recommending a business and they can't do that because that would invite Jesus to turn over the money changers tables. Yet they do that for each and every single Sherwood Pictures, Chic Fil-A, books friends write, and more. In fact I have been at churches who allowed special guest speakers to sell their products right in the foyer of the church. I have even heard these pastors encourage their flock to support these businesses financially.
I have talked to a plethora of pastors, deacons, and elders about Family Friendly Gaming. I have encouraged them to get involved in the video game industry. These same pastors telling everyone to support certain businesses refuse to do anything to support Christian video game media. They will tell everyone to pay for the TBN channel, eat at Chic Fil-A buy papers from the guy on the street, buy movie tickets to Christian movies, and more. That has definitely been a sore spot for me for some time now. Their double standard, lies, and rebellion against God has shown me what they truly are. I noticed something important about the pattern they have too. They constantly are having campaigns to help this out and help that out. Spend money to send the pastors on an all paid vacation to some other country and they will come back refreshed. Spend money on this new building the pastor wants. It is campaign after campaign.
What is missing is a lifestyle. I want to contrast something for ya'll. I keep looking for fellow believers in a wide array of businesses. I have found Rumble, Gab and Parler for example. I found Lukie's Games, and Songbird Productions. I don't know where all of the owners of these sites are spiritually. I do know they are not the radical far left similar sites that are attacking us Christians. I found local businesses that are run by fellow believers and support them at every opportunity. For me it is a lifestlye. I have reached out to Christian businesses to join our advertising family. Some have shown interest and others have told me they want to stay unevenly yoked to secular media outlets that constantly attack them. I keep reaching out, and searching because for me it is about a lifestyle of supporting fellow believers. I pray the Holy Spirit opens the eyes of those church leaders to realize its a lifestyle not a campaign.
